To coincide with the national broadcast of the new documentary film An American Conscience: The Reinhold Niebuhr Story a series of special event/public screenings and discussions are now being scheduled.
In most cases it will feature filmmaker, Martin Doblmeier. A number of events will include panel discussions featuring prominent people in the film, including theologian Robin Lovin, historian Healan Gaston, author Andrew Finstuen and others.

“Our hope is to bring the story of Reinhold Niebuhr to an entirely new audience, ” says filmmaker Martin Doblmeier. “…but not just show the film but use it as a platform for a lively conversation about the role of religion in the public square, theology in the 21st century and faithful perspective on power and justice. I promise these events will be spirited and helpful to anyone who hopes to practice their faith in America today.

Dates are being planned now for Union Theological Seminary (New York), Boston College, Harvard Divinity School, Boise State University and many others.
